At Riverside Primary School our full, aspirational and inclusive curriculum meets the needs of all learners. Basic skills form the foundations of our curriculum which is coherently planned and sequenced with a clear vision for future life.

Our curriculum ensures pupils engage in opportunities within their immediate community and wider society through inspiring and engaging lessons which prepare them for the next stage in their learning.

The knowledge and skills acquired by pupils build on previous learning, inform future learning and are transferable across the curriculum and beyond.

By providing an ambitious curriculum in which all learners can have academic, technical and vocational opportunities, we promote resilience, self-esteem and positive mental health.
